There are some important updates prior to the arrival of Vietnamese coutnerparts on the 19th July:
Firstly: Home-Stay will be cancelled. All affected students to inform parents regarding the cancellation of home-stay. But hosting of Vietnamese buddies will still be continued, which means North View students are to host them on Friday from 6pm - 10.30pm and Saturday from 8.30am - 10.30pm.
Secondly: Do email your research regarding some of the places of interest that you will be visiting to Mrs Ong. It is long overdue. You are to email asap by 5th July.
Thirdly: No RSVP has been received regarding your parents' attendance on 24th July at Yishun Safra (Lunch). Please do indicate your reply to Ms Danz Tan latest by 11th July.

Review on the Meeting on the 28th May

Please look through the date that you are assigned to. Students will need to research on relevant topics related to the places of interest that you are visiting on that particular day. Information to be emailed to Mrs Ong by 1st July. Please see any of the teachers in charge if you are unclear of your duties.

Meeting @ Computer Lab 4 on Thursday, 28th May
Please be informed that there will be a meeting on 28th May, 3pm at Computer Lab 4. The meeting is held to provide you more details on the itinerary from 19th July to 23rd July. Only selected pupils will be chosen for specific days. Hence, the remaining places will be balloted during the meeting. Students who fail to turn up for the meeting will have to accept allocated day by default. Each student will have to carry some areas of research on the places of interest that they are visiting so as to facilitate their buddy's learning during the field trip.
Review on 3rd Parents' Meeting (25th May 09)
22 students together with 12 parents attended the above meeting. Infomation on hosting of Vietnamese students in July were briefed. Briefing slides were also distributed to parents. Some general points to take note with regards to home-stay:
a) Hosting begins on the 23rd July, Thursday to 26th July, Sunday
b) Both Vietnamese students and NVSS students should be home latest by 11pm
c) To inform parents regarding the itinerary of the day during home-stay
Many thanks to parents who attended the 3rd Parents' CIP Meeting and also to agreeing on providing 3 nights of home-stay to the Vietnamese students. As such, a farewell lunch will be extended to parents who are providing the home-stay on the 26th July @ Yishun Safra, 11am. Please RSVP by 15th June.

3rd Parents' Briefing Session on 25th May 2009, Monday
A 3rd briefing session will be conducted for parents of students participating in the Cultural Immersion Programme 2008/2009. The briefing will cover on the areas of the hosting of vietnamese students between the period of 19th - 26th July (home-stay period is 23rd to 26th July, a total of 3 nights.).

1st Meeting on 10th Feb, Tuesday for all Sec 3/4 CIP members
